Who Am I?

Greetings! My name is Chris and I am the creator/owner & sole operator of Days Gone By Genealogy. I originally started digging up my family history roots way back in 2007 but it did not become a serious passion of mine until after my mother passed away in mid 2016. Since that time, I have been researching nearly every single day-including my wife's family and a few friends, as well! I am a father, husband, son and loyal friend. When I am not doing research, you can find me reading(history, science, fantasy-adventure or sci-fi from the 60s thru the 90s; spending time with my family & life-long friends, playing guitar, taking photographs of gravestones in a local cemetery(findagrave.com volunteer) or hammering in my blacksmith shop! (I hope to be adding assisting you in your family history journey to this ever-growing list!)
